About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Risk Manager to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and developing the Company's risk management framework.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced risk professional who can work independently, understand the regulatory environment and translate risk requirements into practical processes across the business.

You will work closely with senior management and teams across the Company, including Compliance, Finance, Operations, Product and Technology.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance and implementation of the Company's Risk Management Framework.

• Maintain key risk management documents, including the Risk Management Policy, Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Strategy and Risk Register. 

• 
Coordinate the quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process and support business units in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks.

• Maintain and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Early Warning Indicators (EWIs), highlighting material changes and potential areas of concern.

• Monitor risk mitigation actions, follow up on outstanding items and escalate overdue or material issues to senior management.

• Participate in risk assessments related to new products, services, projects, significant organisational changes and material ICT changes.

• Support the annual review and update of risk management policies, frameworks and procedures.

• Ensure alignment of the Risk Management Framework with applicable Lithuanian legislation, Bank of Lithuania requirements, EBA Guidelines, DORA and other relevant regulatory requirements.

• Support the development of a strong risk culture through regular communication, awareness activities and risk management training.

• Maintain the Company's Risk Register and ensure risks, controls, owners and mitigation actions are kept up to date.

• Support the Incident Management Framework by reviewing and assessing significant incidents and issues, assisting with remediation and follow-up actions.

• Review and challenge risk and control assessments prepared by business units and support the assessment of risks related to outsourced service providers.

• Prepare regular risk reports for the Management Board and relevant committees, covering risk appetite, KRIs, material incidents, emerging risks and outstanding remediation actions.

• Coordinate scenario analysis and stress testing activities and support the assessment of the Company's resilience under adverse conditions.

• Support Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) testing, including documentation of lessons learned and follow-up of remediation actions in line with DORA requirements.

• Support business stakeholders in identifying and managing risks related to new products, services, projects, organisational changes and outsourcing arrangements.

• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of the Company's Wind-down Plan and related risk assessments.

• Support regulatory inspections, risk-related regulatory submissions and requests from the Bank of Lithuania.

• Perform other risk management duties related to the position as assigned by the Direct Manager.

About you

• Several years of relevant experience in risk management, preferably in an EMI, PI, fintech, payments or banking environment.

• Good understanding of risk management frameworks, risk assessment methodologies and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with risk registers, KRIs, RCSA, incident management and risk reporting.

• Ability to analyse complex information, identify material risks and translate findings into practical actions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent organisational and documentation skills. 

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Product, Technology and other teams.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in an EMI, PI, fintech, payments or banking environment.

• Understanding of cross-border payments, card products, embedded finance or crypto-related products.

• Experience working with regulators, external auditors or consultants.

• Relevant professional qualifications in risk management, finance, compliance or a related field.
