We’ve moved! Take a peek inside FINCI Technology new office
This time we’re not talking about our growing revenue, or customer base. We’re talking about those that have made that growth possible – our wonderful team.
We’ve recently hired four new employees and will be recruiting even more folks very soon.
But this has created a problem – we’ve outgrown our office.
So FINCI technology has officially moved to new headquarters. We’ve designed and fitted out a lovely new space to accommodate our blossoming team.
In a beautiful and prestigious location.
The new FINCI Technology Office is located on Pulkveža Brieza street in the heart of Riga’s “Quiet Center”. Filled with gorgeous art nouveau buildings, it’s a prestigious and tranquil part of town.
Now the FINCI Technology team will be able to enjoy a peaceful lunch in the charming local cafes, or take a stroll through two lovely parks just seconds away.
The river Daugava is also just a 10 minute walk away. This stretch of prime riverfront land is now home to the huge new Riga Waterfront project – a smart and innovative new development with sustainability at its core.
Once completed, there will be a new marina, luxury hotels and homes, restaurants and bars, entertainment spaces, and even a new urban beach. The area will be completely transformed and will soon become one of the hottest addresses to have in Riga.
Creating a warm and welcoming office.
The 500m2 office space is on the 7th floor, a floor that was actually not part of the original building but was added at a later date. The somewhat unusual layout presented some design challenges, but actually resulted in a space with more charm and character.
We believe an office space is more than just walls and desks, it must tap into the very heart of the company and brand. It should be a place that people enjoy spending time in. So we have considered every little detail, not just from a practical point of view, but also how the space makes people feel.
For example, instead of using artificial plants (easier and cheaper), we have filled the space with 20 Kentia palm trees (180cm tall), to add a touch of tropical nature to the office.
“Moving into a new office gives the team an extra spark. Our team was already passionate and energised, but now everyone has that extra spring in their step.”
Moving a business is hard work.
Anyone that has taken on a project like this, that is, not just moving offices but designing the space from the ground up, will know what a mission it is.
With hundreds of moving parts – the detailed planning, the endless decision making, the dozens of tradesmen to coordinate, not to mention the problem solving – it’s was a huge team effort. And apart from the specialist tradesmen, we handled everything in-house, including all design and project management (rather than hiring an architect).
Thanks to everyone that made it happen.
Thank you to every single person that has helped or been impacted by the move. Your hard work and patience is greatly appreciated. A few people deserve a special mention.
Graphic designers Alex Kirhenstein and Julija Sutejeva helped us achieve a really beautiful and on-brand design. To bring our dream office to life and ensure smooth, well-planned construction, Alex created a detailed 3D model of our office.
Administrator, Ilze Valka, was the one in control of the complicated logistics. Her attention to detail allowed us to move fast while avoiding costly mistakes and bottlenecks.
Thanks to FINCI Technology member of the board and Chief Accountant, Marina Mihejeva, who made sure the all important finances flowed smoothly.
And last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to our Marketing Director, Witold Wilczynski. He has been the captain of this ship, overseeing the entire project and being part of every decision, big and small.
Not only can we now accommodate our growing team, we now have a beautiful space in which to do the great work of serving our business customers.
